  • Love Is Never Mutual

Have you ever noticed that love is hardly ever mutual? There is always someone that loves the other more even if you are in a totally committed relationship, married, have a circus of kids, grandkids, and what not. Someone will always love the other more. We tend to protect ourselves and put up a barrier around our heart because if we let go then we become vulnerable and basically go nuts and question every little thing. Do you love? Do you love me more? How about now? Still love me? Why don't you love me?! Wait, you love me? I guess I love you too...No, I don't think this automatically means infidelity. I believe it is because we do not want to lose our identity because people tend to lose themselves when they go all into the I love you more stage. They start to change, become someone new, start a new life, thus become someone that no one knows of. People tend to take this chance and abandon their previous life along with their friends and families but what are you left when your relationship goes south? Alone.
