  • Clara Chung & Jason Yang

Here are more recordings of the other performances I filmed while at the LA County Fair in Pomona, however, like I said before, I wasn't able to capture a lot of footage because my phone kept on running out of memory so I had to kept on deleting files.  So here are clips of Clara Chung and Jason Yang and if you didn't know who these people are then here's the low down.  Clara Chung is a songwriter and singer and Jason Yang is an electric violinist and they were both crowned winners when they competed at Kollaboration.

  • Quest Crew @ LA County Fair

It was Asian Culture Festival so Kollaboration hosted an event at the LA County Fair in Pomona to promote Asian Culture awareness and the best way to do that was to bring out Kollaboration past winners to perform.  My little sister, little brother and I went thanks to the 50% off coupon from the event and saw performances and met with Quest Crew, Clara Chung, Jason Yang and more.  I thought the dragon dance was pretty boring but the Chinese acrobatics was pretty crazy!  However, I wasn't able to film the acrobatics because my phone only carried a 2 gig memory card and even then I ran out of memory.  It was insane!

  • The Cubicle

I am thankful that I do not work in an environment where I have to sit in a cubicle and work because there is a huge chance that you cannot stand the etiquette of your neighboring cubicle resident.  Since it is an open door policy unless you barricade your entrance with a paper machete door, there is no stopping annoyances from walking into your cubicle and stealing your office supplies or annoying the crap out of you.  Although it wouldn't be so bad if your fellow cubicle buddies were cool dudes but then it could also be a problem because then no one would concentrate on working.  Either way, I would say no to cubicles.

  • Burton and Oakley

I am totally stoked because snow season is just 2 months away!  I really can't wait mainly because we have so many new gears that we want to try out.  I spotted another sale so I bought a 2010 Burton Custom Smalls binding, a pair of Oakley goggles, and 2 snowboard luggage bags for whenever we decide to travel.  I also bought a mini video camera device for dirt cheap with a decent 25 FPS but I mainly liked it for its ability to record upon noise which makes it a good security device.  I plan to strap it on and take it boarding as well of course.  Let it snow!

  • Radwimps

I am really interested in many different types of music but not just genre but different languages as well.  Most people are pretty closed minded and think that you should only listen to music that you can understand.  I don't think so because music is music regardless of your understanding of the lyrics.  I am really liking this band from Japan known as Radwimps right now because they bring in many different styles in one song and it flows really well.  Some of their music videos are pretty wacky though so it's pretty interested to watch.  My favorite song from Radwimps is Setsuna Rensa because I haven't heard a song like that in a long time.

  • Men Are...

What are they good for?  Seriously!  They lack the ability to nag so they never get things done and are never on time.  You see girls, are always nagging because they want to get things done and keep nagging until things are completed.  Why can't the girl just do things herself then?  Because the task in question requires a guy to do it because if the girl does it then the guy would complain that she's doing it wrong and what not.  So leave it to the guy to do the deed but the guy would never get around to doing it because he's tired or he's busy watching TV or some other lame excuse.  So what are guys good for then?

Yes, the good ol' pelvic thrust!

I'm not saying guy should be all gung ho when it comes to doing a task all the time,  but there is a time and place for a guy to man up.  The chivalrous knight in shiny armor may not exist today or even ever because that's just fairy tale bull but guys do need to remain as a  guy which means dressing the part and acting the part.  I don't think wearing clothes that are tighter than a girl really screams I'm a man.

  • Just Stop Talking Dumbass

I get annoyed when people run their  mouth about things that they have no idea what they're talking about but apparently they just like to hear themselves talk even though they're convincing no one and dropping crap out of their mouths like a dumbass.  Their credibility just plummets as they keep running their nonsense because it is just a bunch of bull.  I know I should be more respectful but when you're a dumbass then I'm just going to straight up tell you that you're a dumbass period.

    For real!

  • Cut, Copy, Paste

Individualism is really just a mundane myth that we like to tell ourselves in order to uplift our deteriorating self esteem because the belief of individualism is questionable.  What is individualism?  Individualism is described as:

    n.

      1. Belief in the primary importance of the individual and in the virtues of self-reliance and personal independence.
      2. Acts or an act based on this belief.
      1. A doctrine advocating freedom from government regulation in the pursuit of a person's economic goals.
      2. A doctrine holding that the interests of the individual should take precedence over the interests of the state or social group.
      1. The quality of being an individual; individuality.
      2. An individual characteristic; a quirk.

With that being said, we tend to think we are individuals and pride ourselves on being individuals by believing we are our own unique person because there is no one else like us in the world.  If that is true then why are we so easily influenced by everything and everyone?  We base our choices on what everyone else is doing as the sea of trend changes so do we and our tastes such as the new fall fashion.  Remember back when skinny jeans and leggings were so fashionably lame but now it's the hot new trend.  Why?  Because everyone else is doing it.  You can't really say you are your own unique individual when your choice of being your own person is by copying others.  We tend to take bits of pieces of multiple mediums and try to pass it on as our own but that is really just a lie because we are all liars.

  • Golddigging Is Inheritable

I am glad to see the jury finally getting the verdict correct in the one of many child support cases.  Billionaire Donald Bren is #16 on the Forbes list with an estimated worth of 12 billion dollars and was brought to court by the 2 kids he fathered back in the 1980s for retroactive child support.  Sure, the 134 millions bucks that they wanted on top of what they were getting which was 9 million and 400k a month for life isn't going to make Bren go broke but they certainly didn't deserve the money.  Bren is no doubt the father after DNA testing but he wasn't a deadbeat either because he kept his promises and provided support for their whole family for over 20 years.  The women and her 2 kids are down right golddiggers and it doesn't help that her last name is Gold and I'm sure she didn't received his permission to use his last name for the 2 kids.  She probably never got a job and spent all the money and racked up huge debts so now wants more and is using her kids as her trump card.  A high profile person wouldn't do the deed without protection so I'm sure she is the one lying about using protection because she knew she would never be Mrs Bren.

The question now is why did the jury side with Bren?  I believe it is because Bren did his due diligence and provided for the family since the beginning rather than ignoring them from the get go and the mother accepted his money with open arms.  He may not be the kids father figure in their lives growing up but he sure as hell provided for them so the jury can't see him as the evil man who knocked up a lady and left her to provide for herself and her kids.  The kids aren't happy that they didn't get the 134 million but they're not going to stop trying.  Seriously, I hope the kids don't get anything at all because they already gotten enough because golddiggers deserve nothing.
