Jeebus, May is just full of too many people's birthdays!   March was insane but May is even more insane.  It is only the 9th and I already know at least 10 people's birthday just passed and there's more to come.  However, I'll only state the birthdays that I actually went out to celebrate not that those other friends and families aren't important or maybe they are because I didn't celebrate them!  We bought my mom her favorite ice cream cake and a few presents for her birthday but of course they didn't stay long and left right afterward.  Yesterday was my friend's kid's 10th birthday party and boy did that little boy get some awesome gifts!  His wow presents were a guitar, cellphone, iPod nano, giant tennis ball, and other things and of course cold hard cash.  Today we celebrated mothers day at Joe's Sushi and boy did we eat!  We all ended up messing around with the waitress again so of course she can probably tell where we get our sense of humor from because daddy is a silly man.

I purchased the Sierra Stunt 148 2 days ago and it arrived today!  I know I should stop going on a shopping binge just because there are outrageous sales going on but I just can't help it and besides the Stunt is for my little brother for his birthday anyways.  I showed him some butter videos so he was like I wanna butter too~  The Sierra Stunt is a reverse camber board with a softer flex than the Sierra Reverse Crew, which makes the Stunt the board to use for buttering and jibs.  It is based on the Burton Hero which retails the Stunt for $500 but the Cinco de Mayo sale was offering it for $99 so I couldn't say no.  Although the downside of the Stunt is that I think the design is so damn ugly.  Will this be my last purchase for boarding gears this season?  Hell no!  Although I should stop but I just have to purchase a few more things then I'm done!

When I heard about REI's membership dividends program, I thought it was great because at the end of the year you could get back 10% of what you spent at their store and membership is a one time $20 fee.  Sounds great right?  However, clearance items do not count towards your rebate and they fail to mention that you have a limited amount of time to redeem your rebate.  So imagine the big smile on your face when you rip open the envelope to see the fat rebate coupon only to see that the rebate expires in 2 weeks.  What the hell!  What a nice way to screw your customers!

Today my Burton Feelgood V-Rocker Youth 125 arrived today along with my older brother's Sierra Reverse Crew 151 and a free Sierra shirt which I gave to my little sister.  On a flat, the V-Rocker has a little more rock to it hence making it a V-Rocker rather than a normal reverse camber board.  The V-Rocker's flex is definitely softer than the Reverse Crew but not by much, which means you can still butter the slopes using the Reverse Crew.  Today is Cinco de Mayo, so there's a special sale only for today for the Sierra Stunt, Sierra V-Spot and the Palmer P-Line for 99 bucks, which retails for 500 bucks!  I just ordered a Sierra Stunt 147 for my little brother for his upcoming birthday although it is about 3 cm larger than his suggested size for freestyle unless he gains like 20 to 30 pounds so eat up skinny boy!  Also, happy birthday mother!

I was even wowed by 2 and 3 year old snowboarders but a 1.3 year old is even more amazing!  Although some cynics might say the kid isn't displaying much skills because all she's doing is going down, but she is for the short amount of distance she's going.  She is carving on her heels, braking and even catching her balance on hard braking although there were times she just couldn't hold it and fell on her diaper butt.  The kid has the potential to be great when she grows up.

My siblings and I went to eat out at Joe's Sushi, which offers an all you can eat sushi meal.  The place opened up less than a year ago but its walls are full of pictures of customers.  The sushi was pretty tasty compared to other sushi places.  It was also happy hour so we ordered some sake bombs and had fun with our waitress because she was pretty playful too.  We kept on trying to pull pranks on each other so the quote of the day was "are you serious?"  It was a good experience and I would totally go  back for more!

Kaichou wa Maid-sama Episode 5

As you know I have been pretty obsessed with the anime Kaichou wa Maid-sama recently and apparently heard the series was similar to this other anime called Special A.  Of course, I had to find out what people meant by that so I roamed the internet web of data and information to find the series to download.  At last, I have the series in questioned on my beloved netbook.  I watched and watched the whole series until my eyes started to bleed and my hair decayed off the scalp of my head.  Okay, fine that didn't happened but I did watched the whole series.  I can see the similarities but the same can be said with many other animes out there.  Macho smart poor girl hates calm and cool rich guy but never realizes that he likes her and she is a horrible cook and yet he will always eat her poison, I mean food.  I still prefer Maid-sama over SA because the anime style is better and the characters look better and act better.  SA characters are just not proportionate in term of their bodies, their personalities are annoying, and the guy's voice is so deep that it just doesn't feel right.  The guy always look like he's about to orgasm too whenever he thinks that she's going to admit her feelings for him.  SA just overdoes everything and that exaggeration just kills it but I know it's not suppose to be realistic but it's just too much.  For instance, they're both climbing Big Ben in London and she just jumps off to catch a flower that she was supposed to protect for a day and magically somehow he flies infront of her and catches her in his arms and they have a lovely dovey sequence and they're floating magically inside Big Ben now um okay...

Kaichou wa Maid-sama Episode 4

The ability to be stubborn is a trait amongst humans that can be either good or bad.  For instance, being stubborn is your fuel to never call it quits until you reach your goal or to even stay on top of your goals.  It can be a good thing but it can also be your downfall because being hardheaded can also make you blind and even morph the world to how you believed it to be since you can never admit that you are wrong.  We switched to AT&T after years of servitude to T-Mobile because we wanted roll over minutes and unlimited data for $10.  We signed up the plan under my older brother's name and he signed us all up for data except for my little sister for obvious reasons.  Months later, he has the nerve to go WTF since when did we have data, which is obviously when he was the one that signed us up for it when we opened our lines idiot.  He then had the nerve to say that my memory was flaky even though even my little brother was there to witness the event but of course my older brother's stubborn ass has his head too far up his ass to admit he's the one with the flaky memory.
